If you've hung out with me in person, you know that I carry around a notebook and write in it whenever that suits me. Bothers some people, amuses others, my friends get used to it.

Here's a note from a couple years ago, written just as I wrote it in my notebook while hanging out with a friend from NYC.


A friend of a friend of Bruce's...
   had a blind date with William Shatner
   and he said he had to go back to his apartment and get his wallet
   and then he said that he needed to take a shower
   and he sang in the shower, loudly, "I'm in the Mood for Love"
   and she just let herself out.
